I’m a sucker for a slow cooker recipe. As a working mom with a full-time job, I take whatever help I can get when it comes to dinner. And, my slow cooker is my favorite helper! I originally found this recipe on Lynn’s Kitchen Adventures. I love Lynn’s blog. She always has great recipes and healthy living posts. If you get a chance, stop over and check it out! When Lynn posted this recipe, I printed it out right away. It was only a matter of time before I gave I tested it out for myself! Originally, this recipe came from Cook’s Illustrated. That is one of my all time favorite cooking magazines!
I love Big Red — my slow cooker. She’s a hard worker in my kitchen. I love finding recipes where I can assemble the parts the night before and then throw everything in to Big Red before I leave for work the next morning. This really helps get dinner on the table fast on busy weeknights.

I’m always on the look out for good chicken recipes that I can whip up on a weeknight.
