Whoever said, “man can’t live on bread” alone apparently didn’t know me. And, he (or she) clearly has never had English Muffin Bread. I mean, c’mon. All of those nooks and crannies just waiting for a thick slathering of golden butter. Or homemade strawberry jam. Or sweet, golden honey. Oh, I have to stop…I’m drooling on my keyboard.
When I came across this recipe on Pinterest, it was a no-brainer. I HAD to make it. Even though it called for yeast (have I ever told you that I’m terrified of yeast?).

Ahhh, Sunday. My favorite day of the week. And, why do I like Sundays so much, you ask? Well, that’s simple. Sunday dinner! I think it goes back to when I was a kid and my mother would always make a great Sunday dinner. Sunday dinners make me feel all warm and fuzzy.
I came across these potatoes in an issue of Cooks Illustrated (one of my favorite cooking magazines). It was a little different than traditional roasted potatoes or mashed potatoes. And, the thought of smashing something…well, I kinda liked it!

Sees Dark Molten Chocolate Cakes It’s a KeeperWhat the best way to mom’s heart? Chocolate, of course! Show mom how much you appreciate her with this decadent chocolate dessert! I came across this recipe on Sees.com and I’m going to make it for my mom and MIL for Mother’s Day this year — or better yet, somebody could make it for me (hint…hint)!
There is something about caramelized onions that makes me swoon. I absolutely adore them, especially burgers with caramelized onions. Lip smacking good I tell you! A while back, I was watching Rachel Ray’s 30 Minute Meals show and she made this awesome looking pasta dish — Caramelized Onion Penne. It looked so creamy (and dreamy) and oniony and down right yummy. I couldn’t wait to whip it up for myself!
