Here are some easy recipes for delicious comfort foods to get you through this week! what's for dinner it's a keeper weekly meal planWe have had all kinds of crazy weather lately.  It’s been bitter cold — some days the high was 5 degrees!  Yep, 5 degrees!  Plus, we’ve had our share of  snow and freezing rain, too.  Just looking out the window makes me shiver!

All of this wacky weather has kept my little guy out of school, too.  He was supposed to go back last Thursday, but because of the snow and freezing temps they cancelled school last week.   The poor kid will be going to school until the end of June at this rate!

Since it’s been so cold, I’ve been craving comfort food.  This week’s meal plan is full of easy recipes for comfort food!

Sunday: American Lasagna
Monday: Steaks and Hassleback Cheesy Potatoes
Tuesday: Caramelized Onion Penne
Wednesday: Slow Cooker Chicken Parm
Thursday:  Pork Chops in Creamy Shallot Sauce
Friday:  Creamy Shrimp and Rice
Saturday: Beef Bourguignon

  1. I need to check out that Slow Cooker Chicken Parm recipe. That’s one of our favs, but I have never tried it in the crock pot before.
