As I’m settling into my new kitchen, I’m finding that I need (want?) some accessories to make everything more efficient and practical.
First, if you have a stainless sink, I high recommend a sink mat, like these Koehler sink mats. They help protect your sink from scratches (yes, stainless steel does scratch) and keep it looking like new!
Next, if you don’t have a built in microwave (I don’t), consider freeing up valuable counter space with an over-the-stove microwave shelf.
Last, make sure you’re oven is baking at the right temperature with an electric oven thermostat (g1-101). I also keep a thermometer in my oven to make sure it’s always at the correct temperature.
